'Minecraft' Tops 100 Million Sales
The Minecraft juggernaut reveals no sign of slowing down. Immediately, developer Mojang announced that the block-constructing phenomenon has passed a hundred million sales across all platforms, together with Computer, Mac, consoles and cell. Since the beginning of the 12 months, roughly 53,000 copies have been offered every day all over the world. The sport keeps individuals hooked too -- more than 40 million individuals boot up a Minecraft world every month and tinker round with a blocky axe, shovel and sword. Other than Tetris, few video games have come anywhere near hitting the 100 million mark.
Much of that success may be attributed to the game's open construction and limitless potential.
